Andrew Clement (Ph.D., Toronto) |
Biography Dr. Clement coordinates the Information Policy Research Program (IPRP) and is the principal investigator of the Canadian Research Alliance for Community Innovation and Networking (CRACIN) which brings together leading Community Informatics researchers from across Canada, and internationally to investigate community-based initiatives promoting the development, public accessibility and effective use of internet services. Professor Clement’s research and teaching interests are in the social implications of information technology and human-centred systems development. His scholarly publications include papers and co-edited books on computer-supported cooperative work; participatory design, workplace surveillance, privacy, and universal access and information policy.
