Biography

Marc Dryer received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology in 1996 from the University of Toronto, his Master of Science in Paleoanthropology in 1999 from the University of Toronto, and his Master of Science in Biomedical Communications from the University of Toronto in 2001. He also received a diploma in 3D animation production from Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. Currently, Marc teaches 3D biomedical visualization techniques and theory at the graduate level, and courses in advanced visual media for Anthropological data at the undergraduate level. A full time faculty member in the Institute of Communication and Culture in the Biomedical Communications unit, Marc is also involved with the Toronto Police Services Forensics Identification Unit as part of an initiative to promote the use of digital techniques to aid in the identification of individuals known only from skeletal remains.
