Biography Ron Buliung studies the relationship between urban morphology and the daily lives of individuals and households. His research emphasizes the interplay between the spatial distribution of work and non-work destinations and decision processes dealing with activity participation and personal mobility. Recent work includes: exploring the travel demand response of consumers to the changing suburban retail landscape of the GTA, and research into the development of Open Source tools for the analysis of human spatial behaviour. He has recently developed an interest in understanding the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on personal mobility and access to goods and services in urban areas. Keywords |
