Biography
Stefan Saroiu's research interests are in building networked information systems that are scalable, fast, reliable, and secure. His current research incorporates intelligence and knowledge derived from human behavior (either individual or group intelligence) to
new Internet systems and applications. Stefan's work has been published at top conferences in computer systems and networks; four of these papers have received best paper awards, and two of them are listed as the most cited research articles in Computer Science in 2002 and 2003. Prior to coming to the department he has spent time in the industry working at Microsoft Research Redmond and Amazon.com.
