Biography
Dr. Shafrir is an Associate Professor at OISE/UT Department of Human Development and Applied Psychology and Director of the Adult Study Skills Clinic. His research interests include cognitive and affective aspects of individual differences; assessment and remediation of study skill deficits; meaning equivalence instruction and assessment for deep comprehension of conceptual content; design-symmetries, decoration, and human development. Dr. Shafrir is leader of the Meaning Equivalence Reusable Learning Objects (MERLO) research group at OISE/UT and Adaptive Technology Resource Center at Faculty of Information Science.
