At the U of T, he was a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Director of Educational Computing, KMDI’s Associate Director, Technology, and Manager of the Bell University Health Communications Lab of the Faculty of Medicine. He has written numerous scientific papers on the topic, was an IBM consulting scholar for five years, and has offered consultancies to several institutions, including the Institute of Academic Technology (University of North Carolina), the Toronto School Board’s “Asia Pacific Project” and Mentor Inc., and served as a member of numerous University Task Forces on computing, including more recently the Task Force on Intellectual Property relating to Instructional Media. He is maintaining his ties with KMDI and the university by serving on the ePresence Advisory Board and is still involved in a physician/patient education-related website projects.
