ePresence Interactive Media

ePresence Live! ePresence Media ePresence Open Source Consortium

ePresence Interactive Media emerged out of a KMDI research project on webcasting with experiments beginning in the late 1990s and has continued to the present day. To facilitate scaleable communications and knowledge sharing at a distance, the research team are engaged in research to make Internet visual communications:

• engaging, delivering rich media
• interactive
• accessible in real-time and via archives
• useful for knowledge building and sharing

Today, ePresence Interactive Media represents the family of ePresence software and support services, plus the ePresence Open Source Consortium. Software and support service packages are available as ePresence Media and ePresence Live!

ePresence Media

• our core technology for producing and publishing navigable and searchable multimedia presentations. It is open source software, licensed under a BSD-style license, and as such, is available free of charge.>

ePresence Live!

• ePresence Live! is our subscription-based webcasting solution. This software package includes everything in our ePresence Media package, as well as some additional advantages:
• Phone / e-mail support
• Webcast training
• Interactive, live webcasting

ePresence Consortium

The Consortium is an incubator for the ePresence system, creating and testing new software modules, or any changes that will add to ePresence capabilities. When such an enhancement is created and thought to be useful to ePresence users in general it will be repackaged and released as a free download, licensed under an open source license.
